I noticed on my SHO-BUD it only has 24 fretlines on the fretboard and 26 on my Emmons. Is there a reason for this? Did SHO-BUD ever make fretboards with 26 lines? I was wantin to put new fretboards on it but want to get the rite ones.

Kenny there is a BIG difference in that the ShoBud has a 24" scale length and the Emmons is 24 1/4" scale length(or 24 1/2" can't remember..ha).
You can only put a 24" scale length fret board on your ShoBud or otherwise the distance between fret positions will be off.
If you replace with a ShoBud fret board; you'll be alright; but anything else> you better measure...ah..ha.

If memory serves me correctly, I think the raised, plastic Sho-Bud fretboards (AKA dust catchers) have 26 frets.
