Here's a great version of Crying that William Litaker did a few years ago. Hoping to get him to do it for the next Saturday project tune after Once A Day.

William always does a tasteful job on what ever he plays. You can bet if we do it as a project tune it will be a delight!

I like reading through those old articles Jeff Newman wrote in Tom Bradshaw'sSteel Guitarist magazine. Especially that issue with the feature of Jeff and Fran. You can see a lot of how Jeff taught in the way William approaches things, that no B.S. way of stripping down things, where so many people make it over-complicated. It's complicated enough! Its a great tribute to a great mentor and a good tune to push, George. I hope we do it, too.

Thank you George for reminding me of this tune. I know we all remember Mr. Newman as a teacher and he certainly was , not only that . he was a great player also. Because of it all , I will always be grateful....

Thanks guys for the kind words guys. I put a lot of nice tunes on YouTube at that time. I think we will re-visit some of them for our future Project Tunes on Sat.
