Bobby Lee - wouldn't this change be more useful (sorry Buddy) if it also raised both A's? I really like this change which I have on pedal 1 (4), but I have to two-foot it on 1 and 3 (4&6 to you double neckers) or 1 and 4 (4&7) to get the spreads, and double footing it to the third pedal is a sloppy affair indeed. I just want the best choice of chords available with five pedals, four levers plus one LVL if needed. Adjacent major seventh intervals (1/2 steps) sound too discordant to me, so I am looking for more spread - at least a whole-tone between notes. |

I too have thought about raising both A's to Bb yet keeping the As to Bs on P4 |

I have it raising both, but I understand Buddy's point (I think). The disonant interval, 13 half steps, gives you more options in creating jazz chords.
