After dragging out my Trans-TubeFex from about a year's storage it has a problem. It worked fine the last time I used it.

At first it would not even turn on so I took the cover off to look at the fuse, which was good. I did find a loose wire at the display which I tightened. I then turned it back on and all the display does is flash fairly rapidly between the opening screen and a message that says, "DSP Interface Error, (resetting system)". It also has a "clicking" sound to it sometimes. If I leave it on to "reset" it just goes blank after a while. If I jar it slightly, all kinds of weird things happen.

If you can help, please advise.

As always, thanks.

Hi Jim,

I am not familiar with the Transtubefex, but can't you reset the system manually by pressing two buttons at the same time, like with the Tubefex (I believe the up and down buttons, but you will have to check the manual for this)?

Good luck,
Ad
