CFT Strings

I have heard talk of strings made of CFT (material which the MSA Millenium utilizes) for the harp. I also heard that the strings come in different colors. Has anyone experimented with these on a steel guitar.

It seems steel, nickle, and other metals would be "hard to beat" for string construction.
