Hello, can someone send me some picture about the original Fender Dual 8 professional legs' tips? I need to replace, and here in Italy is hard to find the same, I think.

So, if I have some pics I can do a better search.

Thanks!

Search for 1/2" (13mm) rubber leg tips at local hardware suppliers or on the internet.

A trip to a local hardware store should provide the proper diameter tips. They usually come in black or white colors.

Most marine supply stores (chandleries) have the white leg tips, too.

Achtung hillbillies! Neri is in Italy, not in Toad Suck. Italian hardware stores use the metric system. His nearest non-metric hardware store is probably in Liberia. (The 2 other non-metric countries are USA and Myanmar, not as convenient as Liberia.)

Amazon is probably easier:

Ebay has some, more expensive.

My old Fender legs have outside diameter 5/8 inch = 15.875mm.

OK, there must be 2 different leg sizes. (Maybe more than 2?) I'm sure Neri can measure his.

They are often called "furniture tips". Sticky rubber is a lot better than hard plastic.

Earnest - His Fender legs are 1/2" at the ends. 13mm is almost exactly one half inch.

They are often called "cane tips"

McMaster-Carr sells them. I don't know if they ship to Italy.

I don't know how health care stuff is organized over there. There are some pharmacies who basically only handle medicines, but just about any town of a certain size here has a pharmacy that carries some "mobility aids", prescription oxygen tanks and the like, and are going to have a drawer full of cane & crutch tips. Bring a leg in for fit. If there's NOT a metal washer in the bottom of the tips, well - I'd say put in a penny or a nickel, but you"d have to special order them, huh? Smile

Sorry about that forum bros. My Pro Dual had 1/2" legs ends. I was told 5/8" here on the forum long ago and got tips that size. Had to make shims for them to fit.

15mm may be too tight. You may have to get 16mm (if that's even available) and shim them or order 5/8" and have them shipped.

Good luck with it!

Similar. Those are the 1/2" tips I'd bought a few years ago at a local hardware store. Got some in black and some in white.

These are soft rubber and may stretch to fit the 5/8" shaft. I don't know that for sure though.

They're rubber. They stretch. They don't have to be exactly the right size, and if they're slightly too big then just drop some glue into them. Winking
