Topic: New 4-Hole Pullers upgrade for Shobuds |

I make these new 4-Hole Pullers as an upgrade from the traditional 2-Hole Pullers for the pre-Super Pro era(hexagon) Shobuds. Of course, they will work on any round 5/16" cross shaft/guitar. What advantage that the 4-Hole Pullers have over the 2 Hole Pullers is--better "timing of your pulls" potential. The last picture compares the traditional with the new style.

Yes, We can place the setscrew to work on Fingertip cross shafts as well.

Also, not pictured, we CAN broach these for use on hexagon cross shafts.
And yes, if you need the brass roller with a set screw, we do that, also. We like to use 8-32 set screws over the traditional 6-32, which are to easy to strip out.

Great lookin parts as always James,...Stormy btw I threaded my old pro-II rods (5/40)and used nylon nuts to tune, these make changing pulls abreeze  |

James – that’s a good call, switching from the #6 up to the #8. I used to recall the senior mechanical engineers at Hughes Aircraft saying “don’t even bother with a #6 fastener. The #8 is only slightly heavier and so much stronger. It’s a no-brainer.†In fact, in some design groups, #6 screws were banned. Glad to see you making the switch to the smarter thread size. That’s mighty fine hardware you’ve got there.

James, on so called, single raise , single lower changers, which we know is a wrongly applied phrase, the pull rod has to slide through all the different pullers followed by a barrel. Wouldn't changing one of these positions on one or more of your pullers, cause an alignment problem? Ron
