Anybody have any old changer parts for D 10 ser#0107 what ever year it is,I need the little fiber pieces that go under the horse shoe part of changer,hope I made sense of what I need..thanks for any help...CM

Hey Charlie

I know what you're talking about. I don't have any spares, but I measured one from 0078 at .053" thick. So somewhere around 50 thousandths will probably work.

Don't know the answer on that one, Charlie. I would assume that different materials would alter the tone on the plain strings. FWIW, it looks like circuit board phenolic is close to the right thickness at 1/16 and could be sanded down to .050 fairly easily. It is my assumption that those shims are in there to bring the plain strings up to approximately the same height as the wound strings but I leave it to the ZB experts to correct me on that.
