Boy, am I glad to see this thread (even thought it's from 2013)! I have a Dual Pro and a Deluxe 8, all with lollipop tuners, and I live in fear of the day one goes south.

T.J., if you're still around, do you have a link to the StewMac tuners you used? Are they these?

No, I think you want the ones for a slotted peghead for the posts to be long enough. These look more like the ones T.J.'s repair guy used.
