Our late forum pal Steinar Gregertsen was a fine musician and and a wonderful person. Thinking of him and his catchphrase today .... "Play to express, not to impress." I sure miss his insightful comments here and our email exchanges.

Me, too. I thought of him recently while recording and wished that I could have bounced it off of him.

Like most of us, I never met him, but felt like I knew him. What a soulful player. I miss his music and his personality.

He was a great, humble guy....more than willing to give an in-depth answer when you asked him a question, either on The Forum or in a private message.

I was just watching the video of Steinar playing "Angel", on his Oahu Tonemaster...remember how psyched he was when he found that guitar, his "new voice"?
His presence is definitely missed.
