via private local sale on Craig's List

2002 Tele USA STD body with an excellent, apparently 2000 maple/rosewood neck. Fender Samarian Cobalt Noiseless pickups, 4-way Baja Switching. 6 way bridge was used. The guitar was freshly set up today (9/19/13) with Ernie Ball .010 gauge strings.

It is a player axe, with some significant upgrades from the usual American Standard hardware. It has some scuffs and marks (none are to the wood though). The abrasions and a couple of nicks on the back are depicted in the photos.

The photos make it look like it's sunbursty tending to yellowish but the body is evenly red everywhere; coloration issues are just light and reflections. I'll take $650 + shipping as Paypal gift.

The case under it has my bass in it; it is NOT included.

Yes; it got transformed at the luthier's on Wednesday. It is now upgraded in hardware and lowered in price !!And that rosewood fingerboard is very sweet.

Me too ! That's why it's now on the Bender:

But I have to say, the rosewood was surprisingly nice to play on. I just want all my Teles to have maple necks.

My Fenderbender or your ...? Yours is beautiful but I'd put a parchment pickguard on it if it were mine...

actually they all look great. there's just something about a tele that is so right. simple and basic and cool.
and pretty much good for any kind of music. if i could have only one guitar, it would be a tele. leo stumbled onto the maqic combination...by luck...when he designed these.

I let a couple women I know use it for a song or two each at one of our gigs last week; I was playing the great Gretsch 6122-1958 I got from Chris Watkins.
