Years ago I confessed to taking perforance inhancing drugs. I have not been inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame. Just a little tip to all steel players.

Don Davis AKA Don S. Davis

Opp's I thought the perforance inhanceing drugs that the clinic sent me was going to make me play better instead it made me ride my bicycle faster.

Don.....
I don't know of many world class players that have not done performance enhancing drugs....your admission is admirable and should not be a barrier to your induction into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame. Just my opinion..

Don, in addition to your thousands of sessions, your work with Shot Jackson to actually build one of the earliest commercial pedal steels rather than modify existing non pedal steel guitars should put you in the Hall of Fame AND get you a Tour de France medal.

That is funny! That's what I do here at the saloon here at my house, offer up free shots to the audience before we start playing! LOL

I see nothing in the forum rules prohibiting the use of performance enhancers prior to a rehearsal, gig, or recording session. Carry on.

WARNING: Seek immediate medical attention if your steel breaks last more than 4 hours.
