Seems like a very different finish to the guitar pictured in the collection of images from the Ask Zac page I posted a link to a couple of days ago ... _________________ Reintarnation: Coming back to life as a hillbilly. |

I see Keyboardist George French on the far right. Might be Pee Wee Adams on drums. |

If you'e referring to the two onstage photos at the start of this topic, the first with Haggard fronting the band is from no earlier than 1962, with Ralph Mooney on the left, the drummer might be Speedy Young, who worked with the first shift band, Merle, Roy and George French on piano. Both Mooney and French are sporting hipster beards, ie: no moustache with their beards.
The second photo, with a caption that identifies most of the band is, Ralph Mooney, Bobby Austin, Wynn Stewart, an unidentified woman and pianist Jim Pierce, now this Nashville Nevada club pic is presumably an early one, as by early 1962 the venue was tied in with radio station KTOO, not whatever is the call sign is behind them, K?AM... (probably KRAM 920 on the dial) _________________ Reintarnation: Coming back to life as a hillbilly. |
