Erv,

How about "Farther Along"?? Great song, was doing it on 6-string the other day in a jam.

I really enjoy your tabs Erv, lots of chord-based melody, and very playable for a 1-yr player like me. Although I always end up changing stuff around, playing it my own way, these tabs are great for getting started on some good ideas for a song...

Thanks!

Hello Erv!

The Worship & Music committe at my church is putting a gospel service together scheduled for early next year and I've been asked to add my psg to the mix. It's not clear how many songs we'll be playing, but I've been given the total pool of 15 possibles(which is essentially everything on Alan Jackson's gospel CD Precious Memories). I don't want to impose on your generous spirit here, but I would much appreciate tabs for as many of the following as you are willing to forward without it being burdensome and an imposition . Please, you be the judge; I'll be happy for whatever you will send!

1. Blessed Assurance
2. Softly And Tenderly
3. I Love To Tell The Story
4. When We All Get To Heaven
5. 'Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus
6. In The Garden
7. Are You Washed In The Blood?
8. I'll Fly Away
9. What A Friend We Have In Jesus
10. Standing On The Promises
11. Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
12. Leaning On The Everlasting Arms
13. The Old Rugged Cross
14. How Great Thou Art
15. I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You

Very Gratefully,

You decide. Very Happy

Hello Erv,

I'd like to have a copy of How Great Thou Art. I'd also like to have a copy of your latest tab list as well, if you don't mind. If you prefer to email the tab list, you can email it to jwt-jr at sbcglobal dot net. I believe you have my postal mailing address.

Thanks so much!

Hi Erv,

Would like to get the Nov. tab "Will the Circle be Unbroken". Also have a question. How do you enter the tabs into BB ? Do you just enter the typed chord and forget your hand written chord?

Thanks, guys!
I'll get those tabs on their way to you today.

Teddy,
Sometimes you can't work all the chords into a BIAB arrangement. As far as I know, in BIAB, you can only enter a chord change for each beat in a measure.
Also if you enter too many chord changes the rhythm can get choppy. I like to enter as many chords as I can work in, included the ones I've written in. Very Happy

I was wondering if you had any plans to do the tabs for Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)?

That song must be different than the vintage "Amazing Grace", right?

Since this is the month we're celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, I'm offering a FREE Christmas song.
Just let me know the one you are interested in and, if I have it tabbed out, I will send you a copy. Very Happy

Yes it is different from the standard Amazing Grace. The Standard Amazing Grace is included in it but it has some added words and music. I think if you hear it you will like it.
