Will there be much of a tone difference in replacing 1st string .013 with .014.I'm running low on strings hence bigger gauge Mr. Green

The .014 will work fine. You'll just have to retune
it a little. If you use the 1st string raise a lot like
I do, the string will not last as long as an .013 will.
You might even like the sound better, I sure do.

Just tried it and yes for me it sounded good .And i dont use it the raise on it that much. Very Happy
