Well I thought I'd try another tune on youtube, since I haven't
put anything on for several months. It's not great by any measure,
but this old man keeps trying to improve, and just won't give up.

WOW! Many thanks to all of you for your kind words. 
You sure make me feel like I'm finally accomplishing something.
It's sure been a long and hard struggle to get this far since my
accident, but I do spend many hours trying to relearn everything
that I lost. I don't get everything right, but I'm doing the best I can.

Hey Roger, thanks. The hardest part is I'm not used to playing faster.
I always stick to playing the slow pretty tunes, trying to play smooth.
I wanted to try one a little faster to try and improve my bad picking.
My biggest problem is trying to pick the strings with the right fingers.
I don't know the melodies anymore, so I have to relearn them again 1st.

Hi brother Ronnie, thanks. I don't call that smooth, but I got
burned out learning it, and Jean said to post it, so I did.
Now if I could play as fast and accurate as you, I'd feel super.

Carl, slow and pretty is where the feelin' is anyway.
I never will forget hearing Jimmy Day's remark he made about "Speed Pickin'" out in St.Louis one year. He said "I wish I could play that fast....then I wouldn't". Jimmy was one of my Heros! |

Hey Carl, Very nice playing. I love the tone of your Ritt and that color blue. I also really liked the notes you played around 2:21 of the Tune. Your sounding great Carl. Please post more. Thanks.

Hey Ron, thanks so much. Coming from you that sure
makes me feel like I'm getting some of it back again.
Your one of my favorites, that I can enjoy anytime.
It's the great folks on the forum and some friends
that make me enjoy it so much, and want to improve
my playing as much as I can, while I'm still able.
Hopefully I'll have another one soon. Thanks again.
