I have done this quite slow, because I was going to put the melody of 'I Understand' to it, but it didn't work out very well.

Bear with the rather pedestrian strat playing (I like to keep things simple) until my Emmons push-pull takes over at half-time Very Happy

Nice work, Richard. Have you heard this version with a slightly different melody than we're used to? I actually prefer it to the traditional tune.

As to being far from the melody, while the singer Arch linked to makes a few changes, the version he sings is what it is my understanding was actually the melody Burns originally intended--which, for me, is more evocative than the familiar tune (which I am well fond of as well). Here's a more faithful rendition of it:
