| Until recently, I hadn't found much use to go all the way to C# on my RKR, so when I did, I noticed the C# was sharp, so I tuned it at the changer. When I did, it made the half stop at D way flat. Can anyone tell me how to fix that? |

You would need to adjust whatever is creating the halfstop.
Most likely it is using the starting point of the 9 string lower as a halfstop so both 2 & 9 lower D-C# in sync.. If after adjusting the 9th string C# has become flat, then you either need limit that lower w a lower-limiting screw(aka split tuning screw) or move the pull rod on the 9th string to a different hole(either at changer or at cross-shaft) for both pulls to match. Take a look under the guitar and check where the extra rod is going to figure how the halfstop is created.

| Tune the 2nd string whole tone lower first. Tune string 9 lower with the split screw using a 3/32†Allen wrench. Then tune the string 2 half stop with the 9th string nylon tuner. It should have a colored insert in the the tuner. |
