I would think there would be more interest! Charlie and Lloyd once again?

John, where does it say that it's Lloyd with Charley there?

Hiya Bent!
Here in Vintage Guitar;
"Charley Pride
"Choices" (Music City Records)
It's great to have a new Charley Pride record after eight years, and the country pioneer is in top form.
(snip)
Add Lloyd Green on steel, and you can't miss."

I looked in Music City Records and Vintage Guitar Magazine like you referred to but still no Lloyd. I swear I'm going blind Sad

Bent,
August issue of VG. I subscribe, so it may not be in the stores yet. But if you have it, page 128, under the heading, "Extra extra."
We had some thought provoking conversations, eh?
Best,
JB

DUH we sure do, John. No wonder I couldn't find it. I don't subscribe, and I could not find it on the web copy. Anyway...the steel was way down in the mix from what I heard on the samples. If that's what it's like generally throughout the CD, I will say that was a disappointment. But old Charley sure sounds good!

Maybe this one will work. It is there. If you cannot get it just type in www.musiccityrecords.com
and it will probably come up.
Try it.

This album is alright for Charley, but not Lloyd.

Look here
http://www.allmusic.com/album/choices-r2119373/credits

My good buddy Jody Johnson co-wrote one of the tunes. Lloyd Green and Sonny Garrish on steel. Don't know who's on what though.
