Many thanks. There's a bit of a story to this one. I learnt many Lloyd Green instrumentals when I first started playing steel. While watching apple TV a couple of nights ago midnight silence popped up amongst some of the suggested viewings. After hearing it, I made a track up by memory then yesterday evening took the track outside to the rehearsal room and played along with it on the ShoBud. It's funny how it all comes back after 35 years. I will have to get the record out and have a listen to LG and see how it should be done again. Anyway, it's good to practice.

Can you see how hard I am working the Hilton volume pedal to keep the sustain?

Is there a way of getting more sustain from this little guitar. I know it needs new strings which will help a bit but I was wondering about the pickup? It's an original re-wound PU on it, but would a different PU improve sustain a bit?

Any suggestions to me at mr.davidhartley@btinternet.com please

Great playin David as always. Smile
There is always a problem with sustain when you go direct, it seems the steel missed the power. Sad
Use a PA and mic it up, then you get more power and sustain. Very Happy
Maby you can try a BL 710? I like them a lot, they has more power. Winking

Kjell.

I didn't actually think of that.
Also, I may see what PU's are available that will easily fit to the BUD while I am in Dallas

Thanks
