It's 2:30 pm Tuesday here on the East Coast. I can't seem to get Pg Music on the Internet. Get an error code that they can't find it. I assume they are down for maintenance or something.

My son sent me my Everything pak for BIAB but not the power cord for the hard drive. Anyone know what it is so I can buy one locally.

It's always something.

There is no power cord. It's a USB cord. The power comes from the USB port. If you have no cord at all, you need a USB cord. The one that comes with the hard drive has an additional USB plug so you can plug it into two USB ports at once if you need more power. Shouldn't be an issue, but some older laptops have weak USB power. You can get the web link and phone number for PG music on my website. www.rickcampbellworld.com

Oh, Duh. I had forgotten that, when I first loaded it months ago. There is a spot for a power supply in the unit, tho a small plug. That's what made me think....

Thanks Rick.

The BIAB 1 terabyte hard drive has a wall wart power supply. It might just run the fan but if your hard drive has a place to plug a power supply then it probably needs it.

It's not a terabyte HD. It's only 160GB. It should run just fine with the USB power on most computers.
