I needed a new lap steel, and found this 10 string Sierra Pedal Steel that was converted to a lap steel at the estate sale of a late steel player. I bought it and realized that I really just want another 6 string lap steel that I can play in open G tuning. So now I have this Sierra that I would like to sell to get a new lap steel, but I have no clue what the value is - any ideas?

How extensive is the conversion? Were the pedal and lever mechanisms completely removed? A photo of the underside of the guitar would be helpful in determining its approximate value.

My guess is that it might be of interest to someone who wants a cheap pedal steel restoration project.

Not sure if this will tell you anything, it's mounted neatly onto wood that is only about 1/2 inch thick.

Could you post a picture of whole underside of the guitar and/or (preferably AND) tell us if it still has all of its cross-rods, changer parts, bell cranks, et cetera. To offer an informed opinion we need to know what is and is-not present.

I would call this a table Steel because resting it in my lap would create circulation problems.
