I agree charlie with them outdoor gigs. I played a summer one time in the 90's where the fretboards melted off the neck, hands were sunburnt, honkytonk anytime buddy! Very Happy
It wasent an 'MSA' by the way, but i bought one after that! Laughing

I was a guitar instructor at a music camp in Stony Plain Canada several years ago. I remember having a conversation with an elderly student named Floyd, who was upset at the local John Deer dealer. Floyd it seems had been trying to buy a new tractor. He really wanted a John Deer, but his favorite color was red, and he could not stand the green. The dealer insisted that Deers should be green, so Floyed got pissed told him off and bought a tractor from someone else. I think he still got a new John Deer, and then had it painted. Floyd and his wife were real characters. They both had black guitars with red trim, wore red outfits with cowboy hats, red boots and all. They really made my week more fun.
