Mighty sharp observation.....

That was #001 and I have #002 hanging on my wall.

It does look like Jerry Byrd installed the larger
Bakelite knobs on his g'tar. The guitar I have has the small chrome jobbies that look like FENDER knobs of that era.

Here is another clip with JB and the Trotmore guitar backing up Eddie Hill on a rocking version of "Bring It On Down To My House". Going from memory, these films were made between late 1954 and mid 1956.

Jerry is wearing the same shirt, so it's probably the same show. He was not on many of these Gannaway productions.

That was really a fabulous solo by JERRY BYRD! His single string work really impressed me.

That solo by Dale Potter on fiddle was nothing to be ignored either.......nor Chet Atkins backup work.

GREAT MUSICIANS! I simply regret that I lived on the Left coast instead of nearer to Nashville or Cincinnati.
