How do you eliminate a drum from a track. Such as you don't want a crash symbal in you song. How do you get rid of it.

In BIAB just right click on the drum button up at the top where the instruments are listed and choose mute. |

You would have to edit the track and then save it, either with the same name, in which case, the cymbal is forever gone,or, save it with a different name so you still have the original. _________________ Rebel |

Russ, I figured it out. Open the piano roll(the icon that looks like a trash can)Then over on the left there are B D P G S M S Click on D for drums. You can delete anything you want in these windows. when your done, go to file and save with patches and harmony. It may not be the right way but it did what I wanted.

Here's another way. Click on the style icon that looks like a little blue top hat next to the red and blue style icon or hit ctrl+shift+f9. This opens the edit current style window. Now choose the drum button then click on the round icon next to the red round icon, this is the "drum grid editor", here you can edit any of the events that make up a drum pattern. |
