Well i finally put the music to a song i wrote a very long time ago! It's about Dale Spires (bass player) and me running the road playing Honky Tonks! We always listened to Southern Gospel on the way home at 3:00am and talked about making a U-Turn and quit playing Honky Tonks! Below are the words that goes with it! It very dear to my heart and it tells the story of many musicians on the Night Club scene! Hope you like it! Its a little rough! Very Happy

U-Turn To Live Again

Travelin down this highway
With my radio on

Trying to find the right road
To take me back home

But this road I’ve been travelin
Lord it seems to have no end

I’m headed down the wrong road
And my life is filled with sin

Chorus

Now I’m going to make a u-turn
To live with my lord and friend

I’m going to make a u-turn
Where I’m forgiven of my sins

I’m going to make a u-turn
Before he comes again

If you’re headed down the same road
You can always turn to him

Verse
I’ve been so many places
All the towns they look the same

Trying to find the right one
Who will call me by name

But Jesus, he is the answer
With him is all you’ll need

Ask him for forgiveness
When you can get down on your knees
Repeat Chorus

HI Everyone, I am an old retired musician who has been around music almost all of my 71 years, have worked with some of the best and some of the not so 'best'
I think Kenney is without one of the very best steel players I have ever heard as well as being a great guy.
He doesent know me but I asked him a few questions about a particular song and a few days later He made an instructional DVD of that song, mailed it to me no questions asked I thought that was a great thing for Kenny to do, again thanks Kenny you are a super picker and a great guy!!!
Keep up the great playing and the u-tube posting, and thanks for sharing your great talent!! Paul Foster

Thanks Paul and Billy but i do not deserve the kind words because i was given a gift from my Daddy and the good lord!

A gift can only be received if its shared and passed along to others that need it so i share what little i know!
Where would we be as steel players or really musicians if Tommy White, Buddy Emmons, Lloyd Green and many others had not share the gift they have!

Thanks so much and this tune was a true real life moment in time with one of my best friends! The kind that loves ya when ya ain't worth being love!!

It was late and i was in the dungen as i call it! My basement where my wife has moved the Steel Guitar party!
I was listening to Kenny Hinson sing "Call me gone" and thought i would finish something i started over 20 years ago!
I doing a studio cut with a singer so i'll post it in about 3 to 4 weeks!
