George, I'm sorry but this is another one I don't have information on. The finish you speak of I don't know anything about either. Not much help I'm afraid.

Thanks for the info Gene! I see my Pro III was listed as blue when shipped but is green. It has faded to a bluish/green after 33 years, but I would still call it predominately green. It still has the "inspected by" Duane Marrs sticker on it. Great info, thanks for taking the time to share Very Happy

We're just a-wearin' pore 'ol Gene plumb out! Smile

Gene, if you do happen across any more information on model 6155 s/n 5692, such as who built it, I sure would appreciate knowing it.

Many thanks again for providing all this incredibly valuable historical information. Most of us Bud guys had given up hope long ago on getting this kind of info.

All my best,

Gene,
As everyone else has said, thanks so much for sharing your knowledge! I'm just now jumping into the vintage Sho-Bud addiction, and at the risk of piling on would love some info on mine:

Red s10, round front SN 4349

I'm in Cincinnati and it sounds possible the guitar might have been here it's entire life...

Again many thanks for your time!

Thanks Gene for the info. As with Kevin's Pro III, mine was listed as blue but has faded to green. With the nine on the floor, Seven knees, and having been returned to the factory for a rebuild after only two years It kinda makes me wonder who the original owner was. The pearl inlay really looks nice and it still plays like a dream. I have owned the guitar since 1983. I know all the Sho Bud guys really appreciate your help. Thanks again.
