Mike Johnson New CD

Post by Mike Johnson »

Hello everyone. I have to brag on my wife Joanie. She and her Dad, Bob Haberer, were inducted into “The Nebraska Country Music Hall of Fame”. Joanie with her Dad and their family band played music for years in the Midwest until Joanie signed with BBR, Broken Bow Records in 1998. What a nice way for those folks to commend Joanie and her family for their contribution to Country Music.

In celebration of this, I have produced a new CD on Joanie. It also features a duet and a couple of songs with her dad. We did 10 of Joanie’s favorite old songs, putting our own arrangements to them with “LOTS OF PICKIN”. (Lots of STEEL PICK’N. I played solos on just about every song and three solos on “Stay Here & Drink”)
Joanie sang great on it and I am really proud of the way it turned out.

We have it available on my website, www.mikejohnsonproductions.com Just click on “STORE”. There will be sound bites available in the next few days. Also, if you don’t have my Instrumental CD, I will be adding sound bites of a few cuts from it as well. Jeff Surratt will have My CD and Joanie’s New CD for sale at the “ShowPro Booth” in St Louis; along with the great new “ShowPro CD” that you will have to have.

Thank You
MIKE JOHNSON

Hi Mike, I just gotta have one. Not to mention "Stay Here And Drink" is one of my all time favorite tunes. You'll have some for sale at the NTSGA Show right? I'll be there this year I hope. I've been looking forward to it for months.
