I know he was just a dog in the eyes of the world, but he was as close as our children to Toni and me.
Rest in peace "old man". We shared a lot of happiness together for 12 years.

Bobby my friend,
They not only become part of the family, most of them even think that they are a people too. I know the feeling too as I've lost quite a few myself over the years.

Bobby, to some Poncho was a dog. But to you, he was a member of the family,I went through the same thing
when Butters died two years ago. My wife and I believe that dogs are put here to remind us that they are like messenger's from God. Because, you can a day where nothing goes right, you come home and there they are waiting at the door to greet you with unconditional love. Just like God, He loves us unconditionally. My wife always says that dog spelled backwards is God. My wife and I have four dogs at home three of them we rescued off of the street and haven given them a home with love and care. Something they could not get out on the street.
Butters by the way was a dog we rescued off the street. Bobby I understand how you feel.
My wife and I will keep you in our prayers.

That's tough and I feel for you. My two dogs are as loyal as any buddy could be. They just want to love and be loved while they are here on earth. Just like us. I'm thinking of you during this time of the loss of your pal.

It will seem strange that Poncho won't meet me at the door next time I visit. He was a good old dog. I will miss his friendly eyes and tail wag. Hang in there Bobby and Toni. Love ya'll, Jody.

Losing Poncho will be hard on you both for a while, but you and Toni knew he loved you and you both knew you were deep in his heart. Nothing easy about losing a loved one whether its two legged or four legged. God Bless...jr

So sorry for your loss Bobby, you can never replace a friend like that but you should try, there has to be a good one waiting for you. Hope to see you again in Mesa.

Bobby and Toni, I am so sorry to see this about Poncho. I am glad I got to see Poncho again in Dallas earlier this month. He was such a sweet dog, my boys just loved him. I know it hurts really bad to lose one after so long a time with them. Our prayers are with you.

Howdy Bobby, it's a sad thing to lose a friend like you had in Poncho! I am so sad for your emptiness right now, but just remember that while he was here he was your best pal no matter how things went in your day he was there wanting his back scratched or his belly or even both Smile

I've got one that will be going his own way before long he's 13 now and I gave him the wrong name because I named him Jersy but I should have named him "Glue" because he sticks to me like glue and my wife says that when I'm gone he lays at the door waiting for me to come home and won't even go to his nice comfy bed or eat although if she takes him a little people food treat where he is laying he does manage to choke it down LOL Smile

May God bless and comfort you during your time of grieving!!!

Big Bob
