Still coating fingerpicks. tried a fix for the sticking problem. It seems to work, everyone in Dallas, who tried them , thinks so.
They're ,025 Dunlops in red &/or black. the mod is a final coat of polyeurethane on the outside that makes them slick again but still won't slip off fingers. No change in price; still $8.00 a pair, mailed anywhere.

Thanks for the plug Herb; I sold about 40 pairs at the show. Not bad for no booth & no advertizing. People like you, Gary Carpenter & Danny Cormier & Fred Justice made that possible & I do appreciate you ALL. Andy H.

I forgot to mention something. The non-slip coating does double duty as padding, so these are very, very comfortable picks.

I'll be sending you my 8 buckarinos today. I've been looking for something to cure these sore cuticles for years and if they're good enough for Herb they're good enough for me.
Looking forward to trying them out!

Thanks,

Thanks so much Tommy & Herb; Scott If that word means money, I'm anxiously waiting Very Happy Very Happy . Seriously I 'preciate all you guys.
On another note; I believe a lot of people that bought the first picks from oct.'08 to dec. '08 didn't see my post on the recall because they pealed so quickly. That offer is still in effect. Just send the defective picks to my mailing address above & I'll completely redo them & send back at no charge. Larry Petree is sending his but I know there is at least 40 or so more that haven't. I just want everyone to be satisfied with my efforts. Thanks again, Andy H.

Just a note to clear a misunderstanding. For you that use three(3) picks but don't want to order extra, the pricing figures out to $4.00 per pick, so just order 3 at $12.00. Still just got red & black, can't find any other colors in our big city.
Thanks for all your response. Andy H.

Due to several requests, I'd like to add to my services; Coating other picks. If you have favorite picks that you'd like to have the same coating put on, send them to me at the address listed above. The charge for this is $1.00 per pick plus $2.00 per batch(any number) postage & packaging. Won't get rich at this either, but I'm willing to do it for my friends. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Andy H.

hi everyone,
just wanted to add my praise to andy's mission here. i got my set from him today. wow. it really is nice. besides the obvious comfort factor there is something else i noticed while playing these. i felt like the connection between my finger and the string is a little more direct. it's hard to explain, but after trying these, i sense that without the coating, i was missing just a bit of the attack on the strings with out it. kinda like the difference between playing the steel in cowboy boots or sneakers...maybe.

i'm gonna send down some kysers for you to coat andy.

truly a great idea.

Thanks for the praise Connie. Send 'em on. I'm gonna see if I can find some new keysers at a price I can afford to offer as another choice. They seem like a popular pick & a little dif. design. The Dunlops are just the best I could find in bulk at the time I started this. Thanks to ALL for the response to my little venture. It's gratifying to know I'm helping the Great brotherhood of Steel Guitarists a little.
Still would like to get more of the first defective peeled picks back for free redo. I may have to resort to emailing the ones I know got them & haven't sent them back. Andy H.

Andy's coated Dunlops are grippy AND comfy, and a bargain too. After a little tweaking, they're my #1 set.

Thank you Rick. Glad they work for you. On the Keyser picks; I'm having trouble locating a source for these. Could anyone suggest where I can order some in lots of 100. Got all the Dunlops from Musicor. They don't seem to carry Keysers. Thanks. Andy H.
