Seeing how David is likely very busy doing his "world tour" ..by now he is doing Belfast...I am taking the liberty of posting a few pics from his Norway trip. These pics are courtesy Atle Kvalsvik, one of the arrangers and coordinator in the Norwegian Steel Guitar Club.
Atle is a very new Steel player. What he lacks in musical prowess, he makes up for with his undying love for all things steel guitar. Atle has special talents when it comes to planning and arranging meets and conventions. He is a man of great leadership qualities.
He also speaks perfect English so there should be no hesitation in contacting Atle for a possible performance at one of their future meets. Y'all may contact me for contact info on Atle.
Here we go with the pics.

Here, David safely installed in Atle's house, playing on Atle's Fessy

The bald guy is Nils Farstad, a pioneer in Norwegian Steel guitar and one of the founders of the Norwegian Steel guitar Club and Forum

David with Kjell Helde, steel player with Hytt&Pine Band, who performed on Saturday evening. Another pic of Kjell further down.

Note that Kjell's Franklin is the guitar that was previously owned by none other than the late Hal Rugg.
