Tom Killen... he's been there since right before God said, "Let there be dirt." Laughing

Billy,

Tom is apt to be out amongst the crowd before the show selling CD's. I'm certain that he would love to talk steel guitar, golf or music. When I saw him he was playing a Sho Bud Professional, which he invited me to take a close look at after the show.

Enjoy the show!

Ron

And... see, I was there before that. When I first started with the organization, a guy named Rojo was playing for George. The next guy I remember was Calvin Leiter. I think Tom came after him; I don't believe there was another guy. Except me, on fill in dates.

Sonny Curtis was before all of us, and when G&T split, Sonny went with Tammy, as did the rest of the band. I replaced Sonny, and Rusty Pence replaced me. He was there until the end.

I remember Calvin. A band I was playing with opened some shows for Jones right when Calvin left and Tom came in...1981.

Tom should be playing This "PRO~II" I put together for him>

If he's NOT; tell him I want it back...ha.. Laughing Razz

Tom is a super great guy....and would love to meet whoever and talk shop. Be ready to talk Lloyd Green; as other than myself, I don't know a bigger fan of Lloyd as a player and person; than Me.

Tom's son is a Professional Golf Teacher to some PGA tour players and can be seen teaching some lessons on the Golf Channel from time to time....>So Tom loves to talk Golf(Heck everytime me and Tom chat; it is about Golf.....ha....as that's my second favorite passion).....
All the Jone's boys are great guys...and they put on one of the tightest shows you'll hear....and the ole Man is still singin' his A$$ off.....>so have fun.
Ricky

Google Matt Kilen to learn more about Tom's son. He had to have been the most valuable swing coach at the Ryder Cup this year. He's coached Kenny Perry, JB Holmes and Paul Azinger, among others. He's quite young--still in his twenties-- and played college golf with Kenny Perry's son at Western Kentucky.

Let's get Tom and Matt to offer a SGF Special Package-- golf lessons and steel guitar lessons. Very Happy
