Don Walser and Band at the Minnesota State Fair

Don Walser and His Pure Texas Band is making one of its rare forays out of Texas to play 4 days at the Minnesota State Fair in St Paul. The shows start on Thursday, August 24th and go to Sunday, August 27. We'll play on the Bandshell stage, doing two 45 minute sets between 11am and 4:30pm, rotating shows with Charlie Robison, another Austin act, and Allison Moorer.
Don Walser is a terrific singer and yodeler who just won the National Heritage Award. We have a great steel player, Scott Walls. We do Western Swing and Honky Tonk music. Come on up and say hello. It'd be great to meet some of you folks from that part of the country.
