It was very touching to hear Barbara Mandrells description of Norm Hamlets patience in teaching a " Tomboy" and her especially saying that her life was changed and he was responsible. It was a very touching Moment. Norm kicked out a few jams on the steel for us as well.
Both Ladies showed lots of class in there being a part of the Hall of Famers presentations, Way to go to both of these Fine Entertainers.
Ive got some good pics too but will be a day or so before we can get them up.

Don,
Do you know if anyone video taped the awards presentations. I would really like to get a copy if there is one available. I have a friend Jim Bradley here in Eugene that has put together several DVD's
of Norm with video taken over the years during his career including footage taken with Barbara. He would like to add the HOF presentation and present it to Norm. I was not able to go to the convention so I missed the whole thing !

Boy! Those are nice pictures! I only walked part way up and used my zoom, so mine are not nearly that quality.
