Evening Sky

Chris Brooks from Providence plays in a band called "Western Stars". On February 22, 2020 we got to see him in a jazz/progressive type band called "Evening Sky". This band consists of pedal steel, guitar, bass and drums. I was expecting to hear old standards/jazz/ Stardust-like songs with improvising. This band sounded so tight with breaks, unison runs, originals, and music reading like they had been together for several years. Chris, you are more of a scholar than I thought you were. LOL
