My guitar is a model 6160 with serial # 9397 .
What is the year of manufacture and does the model have a name?

I will assume that the model numbers are consistent. So I will assume that you have a 12 string Pro 1 like I recently purchased. The model name is Harvey.
Just kidding. I call it a 12 string Pro 1 but I don't know for sure that it was called a Pro 1----that's what it is underneath but mine doesn't say Pro 1 on the apron so......

Some photos or some good descriptions are essential to dating it---serial numbers just don't tell a lot.

Pedals: wide or narrow?
Keyhead: gumby or straight?
Rod pullers: two hole swivels or swivel & barrels or bell crank?
Changer: single raise/single lower, double raise/single lower or other?

Pedals, Keyhead and I believe rod pullers are in the picture , Not sure what the other items are...

Wide pedals, square front. '75, '76? Serial numbers are so useless! My 74 has a lower serial number than my '67.

Thanks John and Jon,
Jon, yours is a twin for sure. Your photos are very well done. Not sure if it's an illusion but yours look a lot lighter. Maybe yours faded from seeing the light of day more often Embarassed Embarassed Mr. Green An old teacher of mine said a book that isn't dog-eared (from use) is not a good book.
John, Thanks, I have a ballpark at least. I couldn't get any info at the Sho~Bud site. There seemed to be only a cover page although Wikipedia gave a snapshot of why.
