Hello-
I'm selling my Roy Smeck lapsteel...this is the Harmony made one, IMO the nicest model they made.
First the issues...it is missing two tuner buttons. I can send a replacement set of tuners if the buyer desires. Second, the volume pot has been replaced as the original was frozen...I still have it and will send it with. The black lever volume knob is gone so I put a RI strat volume knob on it for now...the electronics now work perfectly.
The pickup is the rowe dearmond gold foil, and it sounds great, very valco-ish. Plenty of bite and can really drive an amp if you want it too. The bottom has inserts for legs(original) but i dont have the legs. Maybe some can be tracked down.
It comes with a gig bag and has a pretty fresh set of Scottys c6 strings on it...love this steel but im selling to help finance an old Rick. Asking 215.00 shipped in the USA. Some pic links below:
