Hello,

My lovely bride, the beautiful and talented Dottie Jack has just finished her new CD entitled "I Can't See Texas From Here". I am honored to have been able to produce the record and to play steel and drums.

The great musicians who helped make this great album include Bobby Flores, Jake Hooker, Dave Biller, Randy Reinhard, Justin Trevino and Joni Rae Jack.

You can hear samples of this and all our other great CDs on www.startexrecords.com.

Thanks a million!

Jim

P.S. Dottie says hey.

Thank you all for the nice words. Doug, Dottie and I will be in Phoenix and will have plenty of both of Dottie's CD, Jake's, Curtis Potter's, etc.

Roger, every time I make a record I learn something new. Up until Dottie's latest album I have never been happy with the bass guitar (tic tac) sound.

After asking many questions of the likes of Harold Bradley, Al Pachuki, Tommy Hill and Bob Moore -- and much experimentation -- I think I am finally getting close to the 1960's Nashville tic tac sound. I hope the records we make down here keep getting better and I never stop learning!

Just a side note, you knocked me out with your straight steel playing in Ruidoso!

Bill, Dean and Wayne, I hope to see you all in Phoenix in a couple of weeks.

Wayne, I know you like the C6th stuff and I just finished a new C6th course that I will have with me in Arizona.

We can't wait for the show. The folks out there all treat us so nice it is like a second home.

Best,

Jim

Jim Loessberg and Dottie Jack, two first class acts for sure. I played a show with Dottie in St. Louis a couple of years ago, and she is indeed a very talented artist! I'll definately be looking forward to getting a copy of your new CD!

My very best wishes to both of you.
