Do not throw tomatoes yet, but I just never enjoyed George Jones singing as most people have. He is however one of the all time greats.

Very Happy any one that throws tomatos is not respecting a persons right to like or dislike any singer or player, there are some i dont care for but others do. so we should respect that right.

I was just listening to George this morning during my walk; maybe Paul did the steel work on this particular CD. I believe that George's record sales speak for his popularity.

I'm not even a country music fan, and I like this song and the way George does it. Also, I don't think I've ever heard a smoother fiddle player than Johnny Gimble. The steeler did a good job too, and was prominent in the mix.

MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, as well as some older MSAs, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Recently added a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored blue Rose, named the "Blue Bird" to the herd. Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic again that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also added a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks.
