I was looking to purchase a C.D. of country tunes to play along with. Something with no steel tracks so that I can practice fills and solos.
Any suggestions?

Nickey Bowman has two "Back The Singer" CDs which are really great. You can find his posts here in buy and sell. I bought em both, and when he has vol 3, I'm gonna spring for that one too.
George Day has two volumes available at http://georgeday.wgpeters.com There are sample clips on the website, so you can get an idea of what is on the CD s. George is a friend of mine, and he actually made these volumes for me, and I suggested that he offer these to other steel players.
George's style and Nickeys style are different of course, but they are both good, and a lot of fun to work with.

Texas Dance Hall Classics is a good playalong disc. Probably can be bought at Western Caravan gigs.

Check with Bryan Adams. he has made 2
already and they are super fine and easy
to play along with. I highly recommend
them to anyone.

here, but by far the best i've heard and owned are by Joe Turner of Starr, S.C. His

John Hughey has some that are just great, also ditto Bryan Adams.They were made with great musicians and if you can just sit there, and not play ,you need to back up and start over.
