I'm getting nothing out of this thread and yet I keep reading it. Is that something or is it still nothing?

No it doesn't!

[I'm reminded of putting up a marquee advertising drinks at the burger joint I worked at in hi school, saying
"Sublime lemon-lime..." and b0b already filled in the punchline. So there was no punch line.]

You're making something out of nothing.

...And before anyone even says it, yes, I know a black hole is not "nothing"...regarding matter, that is. But it is the ultimate example on the subject of nothing, regarding:
 • Volume of the singularity
 • Things that can escape it
 • What's left over after it dissipates
 • What you'll find in the universe, in the way of matter of a certain organization, after the final black hole is gone (I think)

Beyond the event horizon, the singularity...the zero-dimensional center of the black hole with all the mass...infinite density and zero volume...oh it's something alright, but only in a sense...

When you stare right into the dark, black circle in the middle of the photo, into the black hole...not only in terms of space, time and reactive reciprocity, but in terms of reason, sense and sanity...

YOU ARE STARING INTO...
THE ULTIMATE...

NOTHING.

I think there were a few posts that tried to escape "NOTHING", but B0b reeled them back into "NOTHING".

I tried to escape nothing with ¬hing; but that didn't work. Then I tried &nul; but even if that had worked (it didn't), nul isn't the same as nothing. Turns out there's no way to escape nothing, in HTML anyway. Oh Well

Next I'll try regular expressions.
