hey fellow steelers --

i just got some rough mixes of the record we've been working on here in brooklyn. i thought i would post the most country-flavored tune for you all to listen to and get opinions/feedback.

as i have only been at the pedal steel for 3 1/2 years, i'd appreciate any response.

note that the band is called rocketship park and is more of a rock band. however, just having a pedal steel in the mix makes it turn towards the americana neighborhood.

i won't bombard you with gear mentions until someone is curious. in fact, i'd be curious if someone wants to "name that rig". that always seems to be a fun sport here on teh SGF.

hope you like it. and thanks in advance for your time and combined expertise.

Great job, Mike! I liked it...cool tune with a nice progression, and your steel sounded very nice in the trac. Smile
