1987 Emmons Push Pull D10 8&4
I bought this steel from Ervin McMullen a couple weeks ago here on the forum.
He bought it from Bobbe Seymour a couple years ago and didn't play it much since then.
The original listing is here:

It's a really great sounding (and great looking - see the pix) steel. I just can't get used to having the Eb change on RKL. I've given it a couple weeks, but it's a little too conufusing for me at this stage of my playing. I don't have the skills or the $$ to move the KL and I can't afford to hold onto a guitar I'm not playing right now... So reluctantly, it's back up for sale for the same price I paid.
$2750 + 75 bucks shipping (or actual shipping, if less than $75). I'd prefer payment by money order as the PayPal cut on a purchase of this size would be a big chunk of change.
These PPs have been increasing in cost a lot lately, and the later models like this one are a great value.
I put fresh strings on both necks when I received it.
Here are some new photos. Also see the original listing for more pix.
* The 1st string on E9 is backed out like that to get the whole step raise, I believe. It works like a charm. *
* Kind of hard to see, but the paint on the tip of the KL is worn. *
* Note the scratch on the pedal bar decal *
* The case only has two latches. Two appear to have been removed. It closes securely as is. *
* Note the light chipping at the top of the tone knob. * |

Hey Justin!
Check your email.
Looking at your pictures, it appears that the Emmons is already leaning toward the South.

B0B, please close this up. I found someone to make the knee lever change locally. I'm going to hold onto this steel for now. |
