I am contemplating unloading a few instruments I don't play very often. So, what I'm doing is testing the waters to see if there's a good home for my Mullen D12, which I ordered around 1986. I had Del put 2 pickups on each neck, it has 9 pedals and 8 knees, and is set up with Ext. E9 and C6 with a low A and a D on top, with a G on the 2nd string. In other words, a standard C6 in the middle 10 strings with the additional strings. It has a Lacquer finish that is a grey stain with aluminum necks.

I will post some pictures next week.
I have no idea what to ask, seriously, I don't. But, I'm thinking around $2000 or so. Let me know if that's out of line.
Sorry for the vagueness. i just hate selling off my children.

What is max number of pulls per string? (3 up, 2 down?)

I believe Mullen don't have them standard on their guitars, like Emmons, MSA Millenium, etc, do...al.Smile

Al--which Dave??? probably you mean Dave R. If so, it's not such an outlandish question. I've been playing pedal steel for almost 24 years, all but 3 on the same Sho-Bud Super Pro, and I never heard of split tuners till the last year or so.

I haven't seen or played this particular Mullen, but folks I LOVE my 1991 Mullen D-12, 9+9, plays smooth and has very Emmons-ish tone, to my ears and other pro players here in L.A. I would expect this guitar to be a tone machine as well.

Guys, I apologize for not keeping up on this post. I have been extremely busy, seriously. I want to make sure this guitar is ready to play when I sell it. It needs a little adjusting due to sticking changes because I have not used it in awhile.
I will post pictures in 3 or 4 days.
