That really is a great looking Fender custom T-8.I bet you can't wait until it arrives.I bought one just like it in Orlando FL.in
1952,I made a mistake trading it in on a gibson bass in mid sixties as I was playing in a pop band.BAD MISTAKE.Take care & enjoy it.

| Man oh man, that is a beauty. I like the way Fender joined the wood together so nicely on the sides. Much more elegant than the stringmaster method (long bolts). |

That's a nice one Bill. Customs are wonderful guitars, and that one looks like it's been taken care of. I have 2 of them - one that has a few little scrapes and dings, and one that was totally restored by Big John Bechtel with pickups rewound by Jason Lollar.
You're gonna love it! |

When you get that Custom, hang on to it! Don't do like I did. I sold mine and it took 14-yrs. to find it and buy it back! Now, it’s here to stay!

| I own 2 of these things and they are awesome. I have an early 50s that is in real nice shape. I also have a very early one with no date and roman numerals. Really beat up. Missing a pan and tuners. When I tried to get it strung up the boxcar pickups were giving me problems. Looks cool though. I paid $400 for the nice one and around $300 for the 40s one. Maybe I will take a pic or two. I love the player--cant find a tuning I like to use enough on the third neck though. |

I promised you the story: Brad Bechtel posted this guitar in the For Sale section for a friend. I saw it 5 minutes after he posted it. I called the guy up and he didn't know that Brad had posted it so I really got there fast. I asked him how much he wanted and he said $850 but he was negotiable.
I said sold.
Five minutes after that, Brad took the listing down. |

It's a beautiful guitar, Bill, and you should be very happy with it. The seller, Dennis Sherman, is the brother of Steve Sherman who passed away last year, and the money is going to his widow.
