That 60 minutes segment was interesting. I had no idea the guest stars had so much input into which skits were done, etc. Apparently Ashlee was not at all happy with her vocals in the afternoon dress rehearsal, and she or her manager decided on the synching without notifying Lorne. (How that could happen I can't imagine) but he looked convincing saying he had no idea they were doing that and it had never happened before "except for a couple of the dance acts". They mentioned there is no ad-libbing allowed on SNL, so I'm guessing she won't be invited back anytime soon... I wonder how much of this "scandal" will register with the consumer masses who generally support these kinds of acts. Do they even care?
