OK Ronald. I'm just trying to be fair here, as Eric says, "I have no dog in this fight". I thought Damir's original response to your question was rude and I told him so.

Damir has said he feels he has not only answered the "like Emmons" questions beyond the point of reason and that they are not in fact genuine, and in that light his blowing a gasket over your question is more understandable. Anyone can see he has subsequently been making himself more accessable to answering questions.

There are those however, who are deliberately trying to provoke Damir with comments such as "Home Depot and some files", and other comments designed for no more than to instigate trouble, and in my own opinion this is more hostile, rude and unfair than Damir's initial rude reply by many times, because it's deliberately hostile, whereas Damirs impatient reply to Ronald was an uncontrolled emotional outburst, a kind of involuntary reflex. I got down on him for it too, but I'm convinced he's trying to make up for it. Why are some finding pleasure in continuing to instigate trouble?

I didn't know Damir at all but he has emailed me and I believe he is an intelligent and upstanding guy, maybe a little hot-blooded at times.... what musician of any worth isn't?... but there's a difference between hot-blooded and cruel. Hot-blooded is fine with me, cruelty towards other living things, human or animal, isn't.

Getting back to the topic, more-or-less, Damir hasn't given me any "inside information" on the Promat than what he's said here, so don't try and read too much into this; Damir says everything is hand-crafted by Mr. Papic, but I'm thinking even if it turned out that the keyheads and fretboards were from Emmons, who cares? Why would that matter?

It's obvious to anyone that the Promat is modelled after the classic Emmons push-pull, that certainly wasn't an accident. Why does it have to apologize for that? Anyone want to guess how many guitars have been directly copied after the Fender Strat, Tele, Gibson Les Paul, ES-335, L-5, etc.? So what?

I've emailed Damir that I will post his sound clips of himself playing his Promat for him, they will be up soon.

Damir that is one sweet guitar you have there. The fret markers don't matter. I have seen Bud markers on Carters. I listened to the files on another post and I am impressed. You are one lucky guy to have an ax like that. Question about the pedals, is that a heighth adjustment on the ends of the rods?

Craig, thank you. Those are extentions since I`m 6 foot 4 and can`t fit under the standard hight steel.I think they are 2 inch extentions.I`m very happy to play guitar that was built by good friend of mine for me on the material done by another great friend.Sometimes life is great.
