Merry HO-HO everyone.
Nick..We are playing tonight and tomorrow night at "Catus Jacks" in good ol' Shreveport, Louisiana...Lots a Texas Cowboys and sweet little cowgirls come in and Flat 2-step and swing dance ALL NIGHT LONG.
One of the cool things about this buisness is that we get to see the worlds BEST DANCERS. I love watching them as much as they love watching a steel player.

Well, I will be in Black Mountian at Rosie's
Saturday Night(21th) with the Stragglers. This is her big Christmas party. Should be a packed house.

Nowhere this weekend, I'm still catching my breath from last week! Last Saturday I did a theatrical type gig at a local church from 6:30 to 7:20, threw my stuff in my van and drove about 20 miles to open for Tanya Tucker with The "New Radio Cowboys" at a local theater at 8:00. Then Sunday I did the church gig at the same time, then drove to a local club to play an 8:00 gig with the Cowboys. WHEW!!!

Sunday Jan 12 w/ Shane Bridges and the State Birds at Smith's Olde Bar, 1580 Piedmont Ave. NE. Atlanta 10 pm (The State Birds have several ex members of Blueground Undergrass, Calliope Fair, Angie Mosier)

Wednesday Jan 16 Phillips Arena downtown Atlanta w/ Sugarland (new Americana/Country band with amazing vocals from Jennifer Nettles and Kristen Hall and great songs)

Saturday Jan 18 Wild Adventures Theme park Valdosta, GA w/Kecia Garland Opening for Sawyer Brown (country)

I really get a kick out of playing all the different tunes with different players!
