If you don't like the way they sounded, then you don't like the Stones. As my daughter would say, "that's how (they) roll."

I saw the Stones two weeks ago at Madison Sq. Garden, my friend had an extra ticket ($400.00) all I had to do was drive there. I had low expectations of the show since last time I saw them was at Giants Stadium and all I saw were 'ants' on the stage from the nose-bleeds.

But they were great, played lots of great songs and were on all night and played their butts off. I went away really impressed. The fact that they were all over the stage moving around was impressive. The sound with the full band was real good also.

I thought the Super Bowl show was just fine, You got what you saw, it was all out on the table.

I too do miss Mick Taylor (and Bill Wyman) and their sound really could use Mick's playing, Ron Wood is just another Rhythum player really.

Mick Taylor has some fine solo albums out especially 'Stone Alone'

I can't believe ABC sensored them.

Why? I couldn't understand a word of their lyrics!!

Let It Bleed is still my fav.

Click on the link about six post above.

It wasn't ABC that censored them. The Stones agreed to it and worked it out with the NFL that Mick's mic would be turned off on the questionable words.

Please....they were the Stones..the greatest rock band ever...gotta love um. (OK, The Beatles) but Lets see how many 62 year old steel players can move around like Mick (myself included at 53). It was a little more "Got live if you want it" than I have heard them sound in a while, but buy "FOUR FLICKS", watch all four DVD's and tell me they don't have some golden moments, IMO. Some would say they missed a letter stroke on the title.

Ron Wood hit a lot of notes on that slide, none relavent to the key of the song. Maybe they can take along Rod Price next time around.

I watched for a wardrobe malfunction when Kieth's Depends fell off but it never happened.
