The [cornpone on Hee Haw] is still going strong after 43 years.Wonder how many of the rock and holly weird burlesque acts on the so-called [country awards shows or the NOT SO GRAND ole opry] will be around on tv 43 years from now :?: YOU BETCHA,DYK?BC.

I thought Hee Haw was cancelled like 20 years ago. :?

who wants to be the punchbowl-pooper who tells b0b it was canceled FORTY years ago... it's OK b0b i lost a few of 'em too.

b0b is absolutely right; new Hee-Haw shows were taped until 1992. It was canceled as a CBS network show early on but kept going for years as a very successful syndicated show. I moved to town in the early 80s and worked on the show several times; the last one I did was with Reba McEntire around 1990.

And I can attest that whatever anyone might think about her, she has been talking the same way, onstage and off, for her whole career...

I guess I have a VERY old TV.[Zenith] If Hee Haw was canceled 20 years ago,Guess it's just catching up to us here in the swamps of Alabama,I watch it EVERY week. :) YOU BETCHA,DYK?BC.
